Crowded house - Don't dream it's over - live

Os Crowded House nascem na Austrália, em 1985, quando o vocalista Neil Finn decide deixar a sua anterior banda, os Split Enz, e formar um novo projecto que incluirá o guitarrista Craig Hooper, o baixista Nick Seymour e o baterista Paul Hester (ex-Split Enz).

Após uma digressão de apresentação pela Austrália, Hooper abandona o grupo, deixando-o reduzido a um trio, que entretanto se muda para Los Angeles e assina um contrato discográfico com a Capitol.

Em 1986 surge o álbum homónimo de estreia da banda, que, apesar de inicialmente não ter tido grande aceitação comercial, acaba por ser bem acolhido depois de várias apresentações ao vivo do grupo, chegando na Austrália e na Nova Zelândia à marca de Disco de Platina.

A banda separa-se em 1996, no mesmo ano em que lança a coletânea “Best of Crowded House”.
